Low-Sodium Dal Tadka
A Flavorful Protein-Rich Lentil Curry

Ingredients
1/2 cup yellow moong dal (split yellow lentils)
2 cups water (for cooking)
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp ginger, grated
1 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
1 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
Instructions
Wash the dal thoroughly and pressure cook with turmeric and water until soft.
Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute.
Add the cooked dal and simmer for 5 minutes.
Garnish with coriander and serve
